Movies in 09

Movies of 2009

Here's a nice look of whats coming up in 09 in the movies.
I'm looking forward to:
40. Race to Witch Mountain- I saw the trailer, I think it looks pretty good and can never deny a movie with the Rock.

37. He's Just Not That Into You- C'mon all star cast, Scarlett is irresistible anyways

34. I Love You, Man- Another Paul Rudd movie, you know this will be one of the better comedies of 09.

33. Fame- why not?

30. The Informant- Matt Damon, maybe I'll catch it if I have nothing better to do.

27.The Taking of Pelham 123- I loved the original and now it has an all star line up of Denzel, John Travolta and James Gandolfini. Definitely going to be one of my top 5 movies of the year.

25. Funny People- Adam Sandler, my favorite actor plus Seth Rogen, sounds funny to me

24. Ice Age:Dawn of the Dinosaurs- Always cute movies

23. 17 Again- Why not catch Mr. High School Musical, sounds like a decent movie

21. Where The Wild Things Are- Amazing books usually call for good movies

20. Year One- Michael Cera movies are always a good kick and we get the cornyness of Jack Black in this one

19. Shutter Island- Leo Dicaprio plus Martin Scorsese, even if half as good as The Departed it'll still be great

18. Monsters vs. Aliens- Sounds cute

16. New Moon- Kinda scared of a Twilight movie with less Edward but might as well, higher budget but more somber storyline, who knows how it will turn out

13. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen- The movie I am most looking forward to this year

12. Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian- The trailer looked good and the first one was pretty funny

7. Public Enemies- Depp and Bale. Sounds like a hit

3. X-men Origins: Wolverine- Ugh kinda mad that it'll probably be another X-men movie without Gambit but definitely will be a must see.

2. Terminator Salvation- Bale in a Terminator movie, yes im gonna catch it!

1. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince- I'm sick of waiting til the DVD of HBO shows em, I'm gonna go catch this one

What has Linkin Park done now?

I find this to be great, my boys in LP did something very different and fun for once. They released their latest LPU album with a bunch of junk tracks which have made some good comedy for me. This one called 26 lettaz in da alphabet is my favorite for its old skool freestyle vibe. Keep in mind if you can make a one hit wonder outta Chicken Noodle Soup i can so see this one at a club too.

Everyone chooses to write about their lives and what happened last year, I'll write a note about the biggest part of my life.Music.(Note:This is my personal opinion and I'm sure there have been plenty of albums in 2008 I have missed, and this list is no order because that is too hard to do.)

Goals of 2009

Here are some of my goals for this upcoming year, no new years resolutions or anything just somethings to keep my focus on.

1. Blog more often- I read a lot on mikeshinoda.com and decided i could put some more input out there through facebook and myspace about daily life, random facts (which i tend to have a lot of), upcoming shows or review of shows, and of course music!

2. Stay monogamous, yes i said it! which means no threesomes and orgies...isnt that what it means, one girl at a time? lol. okay bad joke...but yea cheating brought me too much grief this past year. so not worth it and again i apologize once more for those I've hurt.

3. Go to concerts, and more concerts, and more! ok well maybe i already go to a lot of shows but this year i want to do atleast 20. i already have 8 i am 99percent sure i am going to. thats not including the massive comebacks of tons of bands. 2009 is going to be a great year in music.

4. Go to school. need i say more?

5. Stop being late to things....like work.

6. Start or join a band. and play msg....ok maybe thatll be in my goals of 2013 but yes get something going with these guitars of mine.(speaking of which if you know anyone or u would like to start up dont stay quiet)

7.Practice on my guitar better, perfect my knowledge of theory and get sweep picking down.

8. Party til i pass out, drink til im dead. dance all night til i cant feel my legs. (bring me the horizon- football season is over)

9. Get tattoos!

10. Stay healthy, stay a vegetarian and work out more. im 6'3"200 lbs...lets make that look more appealing than it sounds lol.

11. Broaden my musical horizons! in 2008 i spread to John Mayer and Maroon 5 to get lighter and more Trivium, Bring Me The Horizon to get heavier. not to mention 3OH!3 to get ugh??? lemme not finish that one

12. Rationally spend my money. which does include buyin tons of guitar equipment that i may not use!
